Coins In A Kettle…Merry Christmas

Coins in the kettle…that’s a good start. But if you haven’t given of yourself this Christmas, or this year, can you truly call yourself a Christian? I think not…
I am blessed to know many people who reach out, who go above and beyond their calling…whether it be to help one or help many.
Don’t misunderstand me. God is fully aware that I’m no saint. I’ve been known to bend the rules to aid the helpless & the outcasts of society; not to mention the victims struggling to be survivors. Jesus and the government didn’t exactly get along well either, so given my motives, I’d like to think he understands some of the things I do in his name. I do know the survivors appreciate it.
So what’s stopping you from doing your part? Think about it.
Be blessed and be a blessing.
Merry Christmas

Palm Sunday: Corrie ten Boom

“When Jesus rode into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday on the back of a donkey, and everyone was waving palm branches and throwing garments onto the road, and singing praises, do you think that for one moment it ever entered the head of that donkey that any of that was for him?  If I can be the donkey on which Jesus Christ rides in his glory, I give him all the praise and all the honor.”
